Dear Parents and Carers

We know that entrusting your child to a school is deeply personal. Whether your family is new to Oxley or already part of our community, the beginning of a new school year is an important moment. We take the responsibility you place in us seriously. We want every student to be known, valued and encouraged to make the most of the opportunities before them.

The partnership between school and home is an important part of this. Together, we share the responsibility of supporting your child as they learn, grow and find their place within the College community.

Our staff know their students well. They understand their strengths, interests and potential, and create experiences within and beyond the classroom that challenge them, inspire curiosity and build confidence.

Oxley strives to be a kind place, where students feel safe, valued and supported. We also want them to be willing to take on challenges, learn from mistakes and develop the confidence and independence to navigate what lies ahead.

Life at Oxley is rich and varied. Alongside our academic program, students have opportunities across Sport, Service, Performing Arts, Outdoor Education and leadership. We encourage every student to explore widely, participate fully and discover where their interests and strengths might take them.

Through these experiences, we hope our students become:

  • independent critical thinkers
  • creative and curious problem solvers
  • confident, socially aware communicators
  • purposeful collaborators
  • challenge ready

It is a great privilege to serve this community. At the heart of Oxley are three simple values: Be Kind, Show Courage and Seek Wisdom. They shape the way we hope our students approach their learning, their relationships and life more broadly.

I encourage you and your child to embrace all that Oxley has to offer. Ask questions, get involved and make the most of the opportunities ahead. We look forward to sharing the year with you and supporting your child along the way.

Warm regards,

Mark Case
Headmaster
